History:
Rivermist Spas was established in 1995 by Mike & Brenda Smith. With a long family heritage in the Hot Tub industry, the Smith’s were seeking to relocate to an area that would allow their family & business to grow into a part of a community. After personally touring dozens of cities, Mike & Brenda happened upon Columbia. The business was established in the Crossroads Shopping Center in the spring of ’95. After 4 years, to better serve their growing clientele, Rivermist relocated to the present day location--a 7,000 sq ft freestanding building on Vandiver Dr. in Columbia. Now many years later, Rivermist has served thousands in Columbia and the surrounding areas.

Well we do have the largest selection of spas in all of Central Missouri. In addition we truly believe we have the 2 premiere brands of hot tubs made today, & our value pricing cannot be beat. Our philosophy is simple; treat you the customer just as we expect to be treated. Our sales approach is low pressure and focuses on teaching not "sales techniques". Once you purchase your spa you are now in our Tub Club. The Tub Club entitles you to deep discounts on your supplies & service down the road. When the day comes and you find your spa not operating correctly call us and we will dispatch our service van that is stocked with over $20,000 in parts. This mobile parts warehouse is our way of ensuring that we have a high probability of having anything necessary to repair your spa, if something goes wrong. Our commitment to our customers is truly unparalleled.
