When we first got the iGrill in store, we were certainly intrigued. As avid iPhone users, being able to watch our Eggs from our phone seemed like a promising idea.
Now, it turns out we’re not the only ones that “Like” the iGrill.
On Sunday, August 19th at 9:30pm (Central), Mark Zuckerberg posted this to his personal Facebook page:
“I updated my grilling app, iGrill, today and it now has Facebook integration that lets you see what other people are grilling right now around the world. Awesome. I’m making a Fred’s steak”
This, apparently, brought down the servers over at iGrill HQ, but the company seems pretty happy about it.
“We had quietly released this update for our users earlier this month and were waiting for it to gain traction, but this obviously gives us a huge head start”
As the folks at Wired Magazine, BBQ Sauce Reviews, and Omaha Steaks have said, if you love to smoke, grill, or bake and have an iPhone, iGrill is one of the best tools you can have.
We’ve always got it in stock at Rivermist, so stop on by to check it out!
Side note: I had no clue what a “Fred’s Steak” was, but this answered it.
